Eco-Design
When manufacturing its products, Eclatec essentially uses noble materials such as aluminium, glass, steel or copper, which are all recyclable. The use of polymers is limited to the sole production of certain lighting bowls or some very technical parts.
These choices mean a high recycling and recovery rate, greatly exceeding WEEE requirements.
For example, each ton of recycled aluminium generates 900 kg of remelted aluminium bars.
In accordance with the future European directive RoHS ECLATEC lighting fittings (excluding lamps) do not use any prohibited materials :
- Lead
- Mercury
- Chrome VI
- Cadmium
- PBB (polybromium biphenyl)
- PBDE (polybromium biphenyl ether)
